THE SITUATION

You know you need video ads.
You've been putting it off.

Every option either costs too much, takes too long, or produces results you can't run as an ad.

The alternatives
Costs more money
"I'll hire a UGC creator"

$200–$800 a video, 1–3 weeks each, and you start from scratch every time.

Costs time and failed renders
"I'll use an AI video tool"

They hand you a model and a blank prompt box. Tutorials first, then a run of generations that come back subtly broken. Nobody quotes you those.

Produces a slideshow
"I'll do it myself in Canva"

It's an editor. You still supply the script, footage, and voice. You get a slideshow, not an ad.

WHY OURS COMES OUT USABLE

Generating a video is easy.
Generating one you can run isn't.

The models are genuinely good now. Driving them is still a craft, and the gap between a generation and an ad you'd put money behind is a stack of small, unobvious rules. Every one of them costs a failed render to learn.

Why this exists

I built this because I was bad at it. My first ads had a torch beaming out of the front of a phone screen, a logo stuck on a t-shirt like a decal, and a lifted house that rendered as a garden arch on stilts. The models weren't the problem. I didn't know the tricks yet.

The pro tools are powerful and they hand you the controls, which is exactly what a video person wants. If you're not one, you go and watch tutorials, then pay for a run of generations that come back subtly wrong.

So I did that part. I watched them, read the model docs, and burned the money on bad renders. Then I wrote every fix down and built it into one pipeline. I worked out the whole pipeline, and every trick along the way to make AI videos come out consistent, so you don't have to. You get the version of me that already knows, on the first render.

16
rules baked into every generation. Camera and continuity rules, plus every render failure we've hit.

specialist models wired into one pass. Script, image, voice, video. You never pick one.

Pitfalls I ran into, and solved for you

These are my own renders, defects and all. Sound on for the last three, the problem is audible. Every one of them is handled now, so your ad starts where mine ended up.

Every clip above is a render I paid for and couldn't use. They are why the script now has to say where an object came from, which hand holds it, how it gets put away, and where everyone stands relative to the camera, before a single frame is made. Not a perfect ad every time. Nobody can sell you that.

WHAT IT STILL GETS WRONG

The limits,
in writing.

AI video is not a solved problem and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Here's every rough edge we know about, and exactly what the product does about each one.

  • The voice mispronounces a word

    What we do about it

You hear the voiceover before a single frame is rendered. Respell the word, rewrite the line, or hit AI Edit, and generate another take. Every take is kept, so you can compare them and ship the one you like. Only the take you approve gets lip-synced.

  • A render comes back with something impossible in it

    What we do about it

All 16 rules we run go into every generation, and you approve the reference image before the render is paid for. If one still comes out wrong, list what's off and we rewrite the script and re-render.

  • The video model's face check rejects a render

    What we do about it

It's intermittent and it comes and goes without warning. When it fires your ad credit is not consumed, and the failure screen offers an immediate retry on the faster endpoint with the identical script, actor and voiceover.

  • Lettering and signage render as garbled glyphs

    What we do about it

Every image model in the pipeline does this, so we never ask any of them for text. Scenes are generated deliberately empty of signage, and your logo goes in as a real image reference rather than typed words.

  • Every ad is 15 seconds, and that's fixed

    What we do about it

A meter under the script estimates your voiceover against the 15 seconds as you write, and sharpens to the real measured pace once you've generated a take. Overrunning takes are re-rolled before they're ever trimmed, so your call to action isn't the part that gets cut.

  • It won't edit footage you shot, and it won't run the ads

    What we do about it

Ad Clanker makes the creative and hands you the MP4. Uploading it, targeting it and paying for it stays with you or whoever runs your media. There's a guide in the app for labelling AI ads on each platform.

Same pipeline, same rules

It runs the pipeline that builds every ad in the app. Same script writer, same actor and voice matching, same rules that keep a render from coming out broken.

You choose, it doesn't

It shows you your own actors, environments, and products, then asks which one you want. Nothing gets picked for you.

Nothing renders without your yes

It lays out the full setup, actor, script, scene, and voice, before it spends a credit. You say go. Then it renders.

DONE FOR YOU

You're a contractor,
not a prompt engineer.

You don't need to become a video expert. You need one tool that already is. Other AI video tools assume you want to build the ad. You want one you can run tomorrow.

The actor

The actor

Star in your own ad. Two selfies is all it takes. Or upload two photos, or cast an AI actor. The same face in every ad, so you build a brand people recognise.

The script

The script

Written from your website. Proven hook, natural monologue. Or type your own idea and Brainstorm builds the ad around it.

The scene

The scene

Crawlspace, driveway, rooftop, mechanical room. We set it. You configure nothing.

The voice

The voice

A real voice, locked to your actor, so every ad sounds like the same person. Hear the exact pronunciation, pacing, and wording before you render.

Finished video ad
THE RESULT

Your finished ad.

15 seconds. 9:16. Native audio. Script, actor, scene, and voice, assembled and rendered. Ready to post tomorrow. Shot-on-a-phone grain, the real acoustics of the room, skin that isn't beauty-filtered. The tiny imperfections that make people believe a real person is talking to them.

BUILT FOR

You run crews,
not a marketing team.

Four trades that live on lead flow. Every hook, scene and script is written for the homeowner who's about to call someone. You want that to be you.

Foundation repair
Piering · Slab lifting · Crawlspace · Waterproofing

The homeowner has already seen the crack and is already worried about it. Fifteen seconds showing the fix beats a directory listing they have to go looking for.

Plumbing
Drains · Water heaters · Repipes · Leak detection

Emergency calls go to whoever comes to mind first. Be the company they already watched on their phone, before the pipe goes.

HVAC
AC installs · Furnace swaps · Tune-ups · Ductwork

Your season is short and everyone advertises in it. Run a fresh ad every week of it instead of the one you shot two summers ago.

Roofing
Re-roofs · Storm damage · Inspections · Gutters

After a storm, every roofer in the county is knocking the same doors. The one they recognise from Reels gets answered.

TEST THE BOLD ONE

Try the ad you'd never
risk on a real shoot.

That weird idea you've been sitting on for months? Type it into Brainstorm and it comes back as a finished ad in minutes. If it flops, try another one. Testing the bold ones cheaply is the one thing an agency invoice can never buy you.

VS. THE ALTERNATIVES

Same finished video. Wildly different invoice.

We're not saying the agency is bad, or that Trend is. A real creator in a real kitchen is worth every cent when that's what the brief needs. We're saying you don't need one to put a 15-second clip on TikTok this Tuesday. And the AI tools that quote you cents per generation are quoting you a generation, not an ad you can run.

FAQ

Honest answers to the questions you're actually thinking.

Still have one? Email the founder directly at skowalskidev@gmail.com.

Tools like Higgsfield or Kling give you a model and the controls, which is the right product if you're a video person and you want them. If you're not, the tutorials are the real price, and the failed generations after them. Ad Clanker is the opposite trade. You give up the controls and get a finished 15-second ad instead. Script written from your site, actor kept consistent across ads, scene built, voice recorded, and every rule we learned the hard way applied for you. Same class of underlying models. The difference is everything wrapped around them.
It'll look like UGC shot on a phone. Not a Hollywood ad, not a corporate avatar in a hoodie. We pick the actor and scene to match what your business actually does, and we don't try to fake "cinematic." That's what trips the AI-detector in someone's brain. We add the details that sell it: phone-camera grain, the real acoustics of the room, natural skin that isn't beauty-filtered, a little handheld sway. Those imperfections are what make a viewer believe a real person is talking to them.
Meta wants you to label photorealistic-AI ads. So do we. We give you a one-page guide for exactly which box to tick when you upload to TikTok, Meta, and YouTube. Done right, it runs the same as any other ad.
Hit the "try again" button. You list what you didn't like (too long, wrong tone, weird hands, whatever) and we regenerate the script and rebuild the scene. Each regeneration uses one ad credit. If you still hate it, email me and we'll figure it out.
No. Pick an AI actor. Or upload 2–3 photos of yourself if you want to be the face. Front-facing and side profile work best. Either way, you don't film anything.
Monthly, on the date you signed up. We send you a renewal-date confirmation when you subscribe, a reminder three days before each charge, and it's visible in your dashboard the whole time. One-click cancel from the same dashboard. No email to support, no retention flow. If you cancel, you keep your remaining ads through the end of the period you paid for.
Every ad costs us real GPU time. A free tier means we'd have to pad the paid one to cover it, and you'd be paying for tire-kickers. At $69/mo for four finished ads, it's cheap enough to try and expensive enough that we can afford to make it good.
TikTok, Reels, Facebook Feed, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Snap. It's a standard 15-second vertical video, 9:16, ready to upload. You own the file forever. No watermark.
One finished 15-second video. You can tweak the script, swap actors, and preview the scene before the final render. Those don't count. Only the final video render uses a credit, and a regeneration from "try again" is a new render, so it uses one too.
No. Every ad you make steps through a fixed rotation of 30 hook × delivery style combos. Audience Callout with Relatable Peer, then Negative Warning with Trusted Expert, and so on. The words are always rewritten fresh from your URL, so even the same formula produces a different script. By the time you've made 30 ads, you've covered every proven angle. Then the cycle resets.
Canva and CapCut are editors. You still need to write, shoot, voice and cut. Ad Clanker is a generator. You give it a URL; it returns a finished video. No timeline, no asset hunting, no cutting.
ONE MORE THING

Your competitor's already running video ads.

Probably ones they paid a UGC creator $500 for. You can ship four a month for $69, and regenerate any you don't love. Each one just uses a credit.
